Hey y'all! How are
you all doing? Do you feel spring in the air? I'm hoping it'll be
here sooner than later and am prepping for warmer weather by sharing some COOL ceiling
fans, get it cool? No? Okay, let's move on . . . if you follow me on Instagram
and watched my story a couple of weekends ago you might have seen that I was lucky
enough to find a ceiling fan that I'm pretty pleased with . . . but there will
be more on that towards the end of this post. Prior to finding the
elusive, nice looking, sleek and modern lighted ceiling fan, I was at a
loss. First of all the ones I had been checking out were stupid
expensive, like over $200 expensive, and quite honestly, I just didn't want to
pay that much. So here's a roundup of some ceilings fans for under $200
that I was considering. This post contains affiliate

small commission at no cost to you.
The ceiling fan that we chose was #2, the Merwry Ceiling fan from The Home Depot.
I hadn't actually planned on buying this fan and happened to stumble upon it while in search of something completely different (story of my life).
What I LOVE About it:
- I love that it's all black and it has a beautiful matte finish which coordinates very nicely with our Ikea light fixture in the dining area.
- The fan works well and I appreciate the remote (perhaps, not as much as our almost two year old who thinks it's his personal toy.)
- It was fairly easy to install, the harder part was putting the fan together.
What I'd Change:
- The LED lighting. Having a ceiling fan with a light was important (although not as important as it's general design and price), But we were used to having overhead lighting in our living room, but the LED lighting on this ceiling fan is very, very dim.

Wonderfully,
