Awesome Teacher’s gift: Crayon Monogram

I am so extremely ecstatic about this little project that I couldn’t wait until the morning to post about it (even though it is currently 1:30AM and I have to be up in 5.5 hours!)

I had been searching for something small to give my kids teacher’s for supporting our kids with their transition to their new school. In my search, I came across Testosterone Times Three, where they shared a great Teacher’s Gifts project: a Crayon Monogram in a shadow box—- just adorable!

So I ventured out to the store to gather my materials: Crayons (the dollar store kind), hot glue, shadow box frames (couldn’t find any so I used regular frames w/out the glass), and I am soooooo thrilled with how they came out:

I added colorful gross grain to the trim just to spice it up a bit more, and instead of printing their names on the paper, I made “tags” with their names on them in colors that coordinated with the

took so many pictures because I was so excited! Maybe a little TOO excited!  ***NOTE TO SELF: next time wait until glue dries before having a “Photo Shoot”, my B is sliding, haha!

To round the teacher’s gifts off, I placed the framed monogram in a small gift basket, with a candy dish filled with Dove chocolates, a little gourmet snack mix and a sticker decorated bottle of hand sanitizer.  The pics I took didn’t do the total package any justice so I didn’t post.
