Game Day Salsa Dip–Sure to Please!

layered salsa dip game day

One of my favorite Game Day recipes, is a 3 ingredient dip that my mother-in- law showed me when I was about 17. This easy recipe will have guests begging for more. I first made it for my sister’s baby shower, far, far before I could ever cook a meal and was taught this recipe from my dear mother in law. It’s a really quick and easy way to impress even the pickiest guest!

Here’s what you need:

1 16 oz jar Salsa (I usually use Tostitos, but used what was on hand today)

1 8 oz package of cream cheese

1C Shredded cheddar/Mexican style or tacocheese

Here’s what you do:

Preheat oven to 400 Degrees.

Place block of cream cheese in dish/pan and spread cream cheese with backside of spoon evenly on the bottom of the pan.

Pour jar of salsa on top of cream cheese and spread evenly.

Cover salsa with shredded cheese. (you could also top with black olives, onions and/or jalapeno’s to really kick it up a notch!)

Place in oven for 15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.

This dip is so good you can also add ground beef to make it hearty!

It looks so good! I'm not in the kitchen often, but when I am, dips are my favorite dishes to make.
