Hi Friends!!! If you know me well, you know I am a huge fan of DIY Wall art/decor. I’m always looking to create unique and easy ways to decorate my walls. So today I wanted to share with you a cute and quick lil project I did for my master bedroom, which I revealed last week.
You may remember a few weeks ago on my Instagram story, I was making fun of Homegoods because they were charging $40 for a framed place mat.
Well I totally copied them, hahahah!
One day while I ventured into Target, I came across these place mats:

I love the design and texture of them and thought they’d be pretty cute—as wall art!
So all I did was grab the two placemats of my liking, placed them in the direction I wanted them and framed ’em up with some Ikea Ribba frames–which I love because they’re cheap and sleek.
What do you think? I think it cost me no more than $30 bucks for the both of them! They’re not “perfect” but I think they make enough of a statement and fill the wall quite nicely.
And just because I love you all so much I gathered up a few of my diy/easy wall decor projects and linked them up below:
Hey Carli! I love this idea! Such a creative way to create your own art. Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today. I appreciate your sweet comment. Hope you and your beautiful family are doing well!
Great post! Who knew something so simple could look so good!
