Living Room/Dining Room Reveal | Bloggers Heart Habitat

We have partnered with Raymour & Flanigan and received product in exchange for this post. As always all expressed opinions are 100% my own.

Hi
Friends! I’m proud to say, that another house-to-home transformation has been
completed for Bloggers Heart Habitat.  An initiative created by CharlotteSmith of At Charlotte’s House.  Early last month, I had the honor of
working with Diane
from The Rath Project Blog
 and Lisa of Shine Your
Light
in creating a bright and cozy, open floor plan living room and
dining room, for a mom and her 4 beautiful children.

We
worked hard to be thoughtful and put together a plan that was kid friendly and
beautiful, choosing furnishings that would last the test of time. I have to say
we made a really great team:  Diane
created an amazing mood board, I visited the showroom and put the order
in motion and Lisa, (the real MVP) sourced all of the accessories, which were
truly the icing on the cake!

This
mom’s wish was to have a large table to seat her children, as well as space to
entertain friends and family.
With full
sponsorship of this project, Raymour and Flanigan truly helped to make this
mom’s dream a reality!

Check it out:

The large dining table (shown with 1 extension) has the ability to seat 6+ people with the additional extension.  We chose 6 dining chairs and a bench–Perfect for entertaining!

The dining room transitions into living room, where we chose a cozy sectional-with plenty of seating and comfy
pillows to snuggle up with.  Wooden end
tables and a large round coffee table, allows for plenty of space for the kids to
play board games, or to kick up their feet after a long school day.

White (almost) floor to ceiling drapes helped to kept things light an airy, and the use of  grays, blues and a pale yellow provided a fairly neutral backdrop, that the homeowner can easily switch out if she so desires.

IF you could have seen the expression on this family’s faces, your heart would have melted.  One of the children said “This is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen!”  Ahhhh, I almost cried!  There’s truly no way to describe the feeling of being able to give this type of gift to someone.

On the second level of the house, Charlotte, Jillian from I Am a Homemaker and Kate from Kate Smith Interiors worked on this adorable shared boys’ bedroom.  They’ve turned a blank slate into a fun and functional space!

Your space looks amazing and I can't believe what a transformation that giant room went through! My favorite part about this project is watching the magic that the OTHER team brings to the space and you guys hit a home run! xx

Absolutely Charlotte! This was such a great (albeit a little challenging) space to work with, but it was so much fun working as a team to figure out the best layouts, etc for the family. Thank you so much, for including me again 🙂

You know I can never not have you on my team right!? I simply cannot imagine completing a project where some malfunction/mishap doesn't occur when we are installing things together- the laughs that we get from our mistakes get me through the time crunch!!
