Hi friends! There’s been a lot going on over the past couple of weeks —If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed — that we purchased a new (OLD) home!!! This home is an 1878 Mansard style home which will definitely be a labor of love, needing lots and lots of TLC, however we are most certainly up for the challenge! We have officially been in this house for 2 weeks now and have spent this time demoing and removing layers upon layers of wallpaper. We are super excited and optimistic about the future of this 1878 fixer-upper. These pictures are of the first floor from our first viewing of the home, check out the video below for a full tour . . .
Let’s take a tour, shall we?
Like most Victorian homes, the curved staircase, 10ft ceilings, hardwood floors, and adorable little side porch is what drew us in.
This home is chock full of character! -Front stairway-
