It’s that time of the year again, my favorite season ever: Fall! Autumn in New England is truly magical, with the beautiful foliage up the coast, the cool weather and fun fall activities, it’s no wonder it’s my favorite. Even though we will be moving soon, I figured what better time to play around with decor than now–there’s no commitment, and I can just have fun styling some new fall decor in a few different ways! I partnered with Target to share a few items that have caught my eye so far this season. This post contains affiliate links for your convenience, if you purchase an item from one of the links, I will receive a small commission.
I can’t tell you how many people I come across that say they don’t decorate for the seasons. And I totally get it, seasons pass pretty quickly so it might not seem worth the investment, but spending a few bucks to add some warm and cozy textures and a few seasonal hues, can go a long way! Target is on point this year with soft knits like chenille, smooth velvets, faux fur and baskets for added texture!
Today I’m sharing a few of my favorite Target fall decor items, and how I styled them a few different ways. Check it out:
Shelf Styling:
I love to decorate with neutrals (surprise-surprise), but its a great way to be able to layer in different colors and textures seasonally. Here I was able to tweak my everyday decor with the simple addition of just a few ceramic pumpkins in rust, cream and tan, and some shine through brass figurines and frames, as well as some blue accents for a pop of color.
I loved this large blue vase, it’s such a statement piece as shelf decor.
On the bottom shelf, a large 3-wick candle in whisky and oak, rests atop some stacked books. This candle is so amazing, it has a spicy and sweet scent, and makes the best crackling sound like your sitting in front of an open fire. Ahhhh, give me all the fall vibes!
Coffee Table Styling:
When styling a coffee table, there are always a few must for me: some sort of tray, books, a candle, coasters and a plant! In this little styling session, I placed the large round brass tray on the table, stacked the amber candle on some books, and again nestled some ceramic pumpkins in varying sizes—and of course added a small plant because a little extra greenery is always a good thing š
Coffee Table Styling with Large Vase:
In this vignette, you can see that I filled the large vase with some greenery from the yard. Once the leaves begin turning on the trees outside, I’ll grab some large branches, I think that will look amazing and really help bring that fall feeling indoors! You can shop Target’s awesome Fall collection through the image above.
I’ve been seeing a lot more warm earth tones hitting the shelves, and for some reason I just couldn’t resist this brown waffle knit pillow and this beaded lumbar pillow combo.
Side table styling:
Can we talk about an element in this photo that’s not so obvious? That super soft and fluffy faux rabbit fur blanket tucked into that woven basket. (insert heart eye emoji) There’s something about those two textures combined that just screams cozy!
Have you begun adding fall decor to your home yet?
