Always fashionably late, but here I am sharing my 2021 holiday home tour before I take it all down 😁 Kidding——I usually like to wait until the New Year at least!
We actually lucked out this year and had a white Christmas Eve!
One of my favorite projects was this beautiful grapevine wreath I made for our front door–you can see the process here.
And you can see Gracie acting like she’s interested in what I’m doing, but really it was just time for her to eat. She’s like “Are you goi g to feed me now?” Lol.
I added some festive touches to the kitchen . . .
with a faux cypress garland, a mini christmas tree in a basket, and some bottle brush trees.
I also did an alt version around the kitchen sink that I loved too:
I also jumped on the paper bag snowflake trend this year, and man what a big impact they make for so little money!
In the sitting room I kept things pretty neutral with touches of green and gold here and there.

This room saw a few different iterations over the season, with a tweaks here and there.
But for the most part, it stayed the same.
You can see how I made the black 3D ornaments here.

Over the last couple of weeks I worked to transform our “Utility Room” into a workshop for my small projects, crafts and of course for wrapping gifts! I added upper cabinets to store more supplies and a new light fixture and rug.

It worked out perfectly!

I also added some holiday touches to our kiddo’s rooms this year:
Kyle’s Room had an all out traditional Christmas moment:
While Cayden’s room was a little more subtle:
And Nia’s Room just got a little more cozy for the season.
And last but not least, I also added a little decor to our mudroom (which is still a work in progress).
That’s all friends! I hope you enjoyed this little peek into our home for the season! This has been an eventful year, and I’m looking forward to bringing more fun and inspiration into the New Year! I thank you for being here and I wish you the very best in the year to come!
Happy holidays carli! Love the boys room😍
