Hey there friends! If you follow along on IG (if you don’t-you totally should!) then you know that I recently shared some exciting news: We bought an investment property in Cleveland, OH! I know this news caused a bit of a stir on Instagram, (especially because I made the mistake of sharing the news on April Fool’s Day😆) and it left some of you wondering if the announcement was true and what our plans are. So, let me spill the beans – we’re planning on renovating and making this property the best it can be, and most likely plan to flip it. But who knows? That could change!
Let me tell you a little about this new investment – it’s a gorgeous 3 bedroom 2 bath condominium unit located in a charming building with 29 other units. The building was constructed back in the 1930s and has so much character that we just couldn’t resist. This unit is truly one of a kind and stands out from the rest – I’ve never seen anything quite like it before.
Although it’s got great bones, it’s in need of some cosmetic repairs/upgrades to truly make it shine. We’re still trying to decide on a name for it (Vaulted Villa, Arched Abode, Casa de Carli?) but we’ve been busy making plans for the renovations that will bring this beauty back to its former glory.
Now, I know some of you might be thinking, “Why Cleveland/Ohio?” But trust me when I say, there’s a lot to love about this city. We see so much potential for growth and development there, and we’re excited to be a part of it. Plus, there’s so much to do there! Come check out a (really awful iphone) tour of this property.

It’s fabulous! Congratulations.
PS: as a long-ago Ohioan (circa the 1990’s), we used to drive 2+ hours to Cleveland to eat at Corky & Lenny’s. I have no idea if Corky & Lenny’s is still amazing, but it’s worth a try: https://www.corkyandlennys.com/menu-1//
