So, over the past few years, I’ve totally become a jeans and t-shirt kind of girl, but lately I’ve been trying to elevate the look with cute button downs and sweaters, especially as fall approaches.
And when I’m on the hunt for items like this, I always look on Walmart first. They have an impressive selection of wardrobe staples that offer beautiful quality. So today I’m sharing a few new pieces that I recently added to my wardrobe for fall. For reference, I’m 5’4″ and a midsize 12/14 or XL.
This cardigan is so comfy and soft and it comes in multiple colors, I chose to size up for that on-trend oversized look (I’m wearing a xxl), and now I think I need to order it in every color. The jeans are a straight high rise, with destructed hem and they are perfect for everyday.
Oversized button-downs are great for fall for a bunch of reasons! They bring this laid-back yet stylish vibe that’s super comfy, and can look great on any body type–And the best part? You can rock these shirts pretty much anywhere – from a casual hangout to a slightly more dressed-up event. All depending on how you style ‘em. I’m convinced button downs are the new T-Shirt! These button downs are from Terra & Sky in a 0X/14W for a looser fit.

I can totally see myself wearing this to my son’s games or just out for an errand run.
and last but not least, I’d be remiss if I didn’t include one of my favorite Walmart sweatsuits. I have this in a few different colors and when I saw it in geen I had to grab it–I actually want to get the burgudy one too! It’s so soft and comfy. I’m wearing a large on top and an XL on bottom.
