Friends! We’ve been hard at work transforming our enclosed breezeway, and it’s finally coming together! I shared my inspo for the space a few months ago here.

With the help of Westlake Royal Building Products, we transformed this outdated space into a warm and inviting entryway. The stunning beadboard ceiling from the Grove Collection (natural cedar) pairs perfectly with the sleek, vertical shiplap walls (5/8”x8” Nickel Gap), creating a timeless look. Best of all, their low-maintenance, moisture, and pest-resistant products ensure that this makeover is not only stylish but built to last.

Check out these unbelievable before and afters:

I carried the same beadboard in from the Mudroom ceiling into the breezeway, and also carried the mudroom wall color (Patio Stone by Behr) in on the doors. I love how this makes the two spaces feel cohesive, without being exactly the same–Sisters, not twins, lol.

We removed the closet that used to be here and added this vintage dresser for now, but eventually there will be tall cabinetry in its place to hold my tools and supplies.

I’ll also run cabinetry under the window for even more storage.

I’m thrilled with how my peg rack with a ledge shelf turned out, especially since I used leftover materials. While I don’t want this area to feel like a mudroom, the pegs are ideal for keeping my gardening tools organized. My vision for this space is to blend functionality with charm—it will serve as an entryway, a potting station, and a small tool storage area.
The transformation so far is incredible, and this is just the beginning. We’re planning to enhance it even further with cabinetry for additional tool storage and gorgeous rustic brick flooring. Stay tuned for the exciting updates ahead!
But, in the meantime, here are a few more “after” shots:
